The Who:

Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.

The What:

Launch Sydney’s newest luxury 5 star hotel to open in 15 years, Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour and sustain buzz and talkability up until the hotel’s one year anniversary and beyond.

The How:

Agency B&Co organised an exclusive preview dinner for long lead media to drive magazine coverage to be published at the time of opening. During the opening phase we ran a media famil program with local and international media to generate reviews and coverage. Since 2017, we have continued to collaborate with like-minded partners and brands to align Sofitel within the luxury market and run an always on media office campaign to extract every possible coverage opportunity.

The Highlights:

Introduced the first Sofitel Salons attracting industry leaders to host a series of media and consumer events. This included working with Australian author Katrina Lawrence and hosting a champagne masterclass with Ruinart and Bibendum Wines hosted by John Noble, Director of the Champagne Bureau

Brokered on-going partnership with luxury French cookware brand Le Creuset

Launched The Juggle book launch with Steph Adams and Samantha Brett

Hosted A Morning with Wedded Wonderland with Wendy El Khoury

The Outcome:

Supported 214 media famils in total and generated coverage in The Australian, Good Food, Australian Financial Review, WISH Magazine, Qantas Travel Insider and more
